One of the most annoying things in some site, is Music!

I hate entering a site and start listening to some song, or radio, that the site owner like to have playing soon as the page loads.

Imagine you are visiting one blog, and soon as you open the page you start hearing a song, it isn’t a bad song, but you are listening to your favorite CD’s, or simply listening to nothing, and then you got HIT! by the song the site is playing. You searched, you searched, and then you found the player in the only place you wouldn’t search at first.

Is it me, or this is really annoying? Again, the music doesn’t need to be bad, it just feels out of place, and if you are entertained with something else it will just become annoyer, and you will eventually loose interest on what you were trying to reach(by entering that site).

I’m not saying music should be banned from sites, I’m just trying to share the idea of having everything in the right place. Of course there are sites where you expect to have music (from your experience) but are about those annoying others I’m talking about.

Love for color is something that fascinates me, and nowadays is definitely something to consider explorable.

Even the fashion has been taken by color, not like the 80′s when everybody dressed like they wanted. For years you watched, and will be watching, the fashion trends in color: purple for winter, strawberry for summer, and so on…

The same is happening to the web (design). You no longer find websites with horrible color schemes and high contracts. That has been developed for a long time and globally we are walking to standards in design (web fashion), and that is why you watch so many websites with a very close appearance.

Not only the stylist have to care with the current color trend, but so web designers have to worry about it too. The color is no longer linked to religious or cultural matters, it’s only used to look good and call your attention.

A few months ago I have found one site called COLOURlovers and didn’t gave it the right respect, so I bookmarked for a closer look. Now, months later, I can give it the respect he needs, but not all he deserves.

Like COLOURlovers there are websites like Colorschemer.com and more recently dailycolorscheme.com, they both provide color palettes and the current trends. The best in COLOURlovers is that not only we can get thousands of palettes and color schemes to fall in love with, but we can delight with the patterns exposed.

This is definitely one of the best ways to find inspiration, and I invite you to take a look and fall in love for color too.
